How does eaimee work?

eaimee dating provides a safe, secure and anonymous way to find and communicate with people of your choice. In a nutshell, you register by choosing a username (a screen name or alias) , a full name and an email address, then you set up a profile describing yourself and the type of person and relationship you are looking for. You can view other people’s profiles by searching the site and, in turn, they can view your profile. When you find someone that interests you, you can send a public or private message via the site to their username. The message is sent to their email address from your username – your real name and email address are never shown. In turn, you may receive messages from other members. These messages will be from their username and not their real email address, protecting both your and their privacy. For more info, refer to our guidelines for eaimee First Date Advice

Is eaimee FREE?

Registration is free. Members can use every feature of the site and can receive anonymous email through the site, but only paying subscribers can initiate a conversation. Our membership fees are very reasonable, please visit our Membership Page to view our level of memberships.

Why Can’t I message?

To send messages you must be a paying member. Please visit our Membership Page to view our rates or to register.

Is my privacy respected?

Yes. We will never give your details to other members or use your details for any purpose without your permission. For full details please review our Privacy policy.

Is the content censored?

@eaimee, we run a two way trust relationship with members, we like our members to treat other members like how they want to be to be treated; We’re not here to police our users since we like our users to think of us as fun, exciting and relax. However, @eaimee we pride ourselves to ensure a high standards of behavior, we reserve the right to hide, delete or modify unacceptable profiles. Amongst other reasons we reserve the right to delete or modify profiles that:

Contain contact information such as email or Skype addresses, Telephone numbers, addresses, etc.

Swearing, bullying

Are under 18 years of age or those soliciting contact from people under 18 years.

Are racist, or attack other groups or religions.

How can I register?

on eaimee homepage, enter your details and click signup  or click on signup top right – fill in the required details, accept the terms & conditions and  reCaptcha- then click on complete sign-up

After I click on “complete sign-up” can I login?

NO, first you need to activate your account. Please wait to receive the activation email we sent to the private email you provided during registration. Provided the email you used to subscribe is correct, the activation email doesn’t take long.

What’s next? 

Once you’ve activated your account, click on View membership account; then click on edit profile under Account and fill in the followings: My summary, Looking for, Lifestyle, Physical

Once I have activated my account, can I start searching for my compatibles matches?

Yes by clicking Profile at the top. But to complete your profile please the followings: My summary, Looking for, Lifestyle, Physical

Login Help
I‘ve forgotten my login details. How do I find them?

Easy! Just click on forgot Username or Password link, enter your email address and and we’ll email you a reminder of your username and a link that allows you to reset your password.

Can I change my Password?

Yes. Go to your profile page and click on Settings

Why I must set up a profile on eAimee?

You can search the site without setting up a profile. However, to view full member profiles you need to become a member and set up a profile. Remember, it’s free to become a member.

Do I pay to setup a Profile?

No. To set up a profile you simply need to register; it is only necessary to become a paying member when you, for example, want to send a private messages to other members.

How do I setup a profile?

If you are not yet a member, start by Joining eAimee for free. If you’re already a member, just go to Profile.

Can I change my username?

NO. For sécurité reason, you can’t change your username

How do I edit my profile?

Login, then go to Profile, under Profile tab, click on edit.

Can I hide hide my profile from public view?

Yes. Go to the Profile page, under Profile tab, click settings, then profile. Note that you can switch this back to ‘visible’ at any time if you so wish.

Can my Profile be seen by members from your other dating sites?

No. From the moment you complete your profile on one of our sites, our aim is to help you find as many other people as possible that match the type of person you are looking for. This means that as well as being able to see members www.eaime.com only, you will not have access to other member profiles from www.eaimee.fr.  Remember, our matching process helps all of our members select suitable profiles, so generally other members will only see your profile if you both match what you are jointly looking for.

Bear in mind that any mail or correspondence you receive through our system will always appear in your profile message area in the normal way. Please note, for security reasons your log in details will only work on the site you originally joined.

Photos and Videos
How do add photos to my Profile?

To add photos, login to your account, go to profile, then Media and select Photos.

How can I add a profile video?

To record your profile video, login to your account, go to profile, then Media and select Videos

How did my photo disappear from my profile?

Your photo may be deleted if it does not comply with our technical requirements, is obscene or is a picture of a celebrity or other copyrighted material such as cartoon pictures.

Contacting other members
How do I contact another member?

When you view another member’s profile you will see a Add FriendPrivate Message, Poke, or Instant messaging –  membership levels applyClick any of these to contact other members.

Will any of my details be exposed?

No. The message sent to the other member will only contain your username, your message and brief instructions telling them how to reply. See our Privacy Policy for further details.

I received a message from another member. How do I reply?

The easiest way is to follow the link provided in the email you received. That will take you to their profile, where you can use the ‘Contact Him (or Her)’ link to send a reply message. Remember, you need to be a paying member to be able to send replies.

Must I be a paying member to receive messages?

No, you will receive messages sent to your username even if you are not a paying member. You will, however, need to paid to reply.

How do I stop another member from contacting me?

Follow the link to their profile in the email you received from them, or search by username, once you locate the other member’s profile, you can click ‘Block’ next to their photo. If they try and contact you in future, they will see a note saying that you have blocked contacts from them and that they cannot contact you. Remember only you can remove the message block.

What does it cost to join eAimee dating?

How can I Pay?

We offer a secure credit card payment facility or paypal. Full details appear in our Membership Section.

Is it safe to enter my credit card details on your site?

Yes. Credit card payments are processed using ‘Stripe’ card-processing gateway and Paypal. Stripe and Paypal are two of the largest and most respected global card processing companies. All your card details are encrypted for maximum security whilst travelling over the Internet. Further, no credit card details are stored anywhere on our site.Paypal  payment is still in process.

What will appear on my credit card bills?

Payments will be shown as a purchase from “eaimee Ltd”

Will my subscription be auto renewed?

Yes, if you subscribe using a credit or a debit card, then you will be re-billed at the end of your first subscription period. However, if you cancel your agreement before your renewal date, then you will not be re-billed. Should you wish at any time to cancel the automatic renewal of your subscription, simply contact us: cancellation@dev.eaimee.com?

I have used all of my subscription and want to delete my profile. Will I be refunded the balance?

No, unused portions of a subscription are not refundable. Deleting your profile will result in your unused subscription being lost.

Will my profile remain on eAimee after my subscription ends?

Yes. You will however be able to request your profile to be deleted should you wish to do so.
